Spain’s largest telecommunications company Telefónica will accept payments in cryptocurrencies for products purchased on its technology marketplace, CoinDesk reported Thursday.
The company has partnered with Bit2Me, the country’s largest crypto exchange, to add a crypto payment feature on its online tech shop Tu.com.
Telefónica has also invested in Bit2Me, but said details on the investment will be announced at a later time, according to the report.
The telecom company also operates its own NFT marketplace, Telefónica Marketplace.
