South Korean internet giant Naver will collaborate with LINE NEXT, the non-fungible token (NFT) venture of global instant messaging service LINE, to expand the NFT ecosystem, the company said in a statement Thursday.

Naver will provide technological support and contents to Dosi, the NFT platform under development by LINE NEXT, to attract South Korean users and offer them a unique NFT experience.

Specifically, the internet giant will help build a blockchain wallet environment based on Naver IDs and enable NFT purchase in Dosi using its mobile payment service Naver Pay, according to the statement.

Dosi is an all-in-one NFT publishing platform that supports the creation, issuance, marketing and transaction of the digital tokens. Companies and creators from around the world can work together on the platform to open NFT brand stores and form communities.

LINE NEXT announced Wednesday that it has partnered with 26 brands, including SoftBank CJ ENM, YG PLUS, Visa and Crypto.com, to lead the expansion of the NFT ecosystem and establish a global NFT value chain, especially in the areas of gaming, entertainment, digital comics, the metaverse, art and services.
