South Korea’s Digital Asset eXchange Association (DAXA), an alliance formed by the five top crypto exchanges in the country, will likely announce on Friday evening whether they will delist the WEMIX crypto from their platforms.

WEMIX is the native token of the Wemix blockchain ecosystem operated by the major South Korean game developer WeMade

Last month, WEMIX was flagged with an “investment warning” at DAXA exchanges due to discrepancies in the disclosed number of tokens in circulation and the actual number in the market., DAXA said.

The gaming company explained that the difference was not intentional and merely an issue of paperwork. WeMade CEO Henry Chang reassured investors that there is “no possibility” of delisting WEMIX in the country.

Despite WeMade’s clarification, DAXA members (Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit and Gopax) have maintained the investment warning flag, and will give their final verdict on the matter tomorrow.
