Levvels, the joint venture of Dunamu and Hybe, said it will launch a non-fungible token (NFT) platform dedicated to K-pop digital collectibles this month.

Dunamu is the operator of South Korea’s largest crypto exchange Upbit, and Hybe is a K-pop entertainment company most recognized for its globally popular boy band BTS.

Levvels’ NFT platform, MOMENTICA, will issue digital collectibles named TAKE in image and video formats that capture unique moments of K-pop singers. Fans will be able to collect, trade and personalize these digital collectibles on the platform, enhancing their engagement experience with artists of their choice.

“In celebration of their passion, we are excited to provide a new digital experience that enhances how the fandom celebrates the best moments of their favorite artists through technology,” said Ryan Jang, chief operating officer at Levvels, in a statement. “Our aim is to always enhance the fan experience and we will continue to update and expand our services while always maintaining a user-friendly and intuitive user interface."

The pre-registration for MOMENTICA will begin on Wednesday, and participating fans will have the chance to win limited editions of NFTs, and get free digital collectibles from Hybe’s K-pop groups SEVENTEEN, fromis_9, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN and LE SSERAFIM.

Earlier this year, Dunamu and Hybe established Levvels in Los Angeles, U.S. to explore blockchain and Web3-based business opportunities.
