LG Electronics will unveil its 97-inch OLED EVO Gallery Edition, the world's largest OLED TV, for the first time at 'IFA 2022', Europe's largest consumer electronics exhibition to be held in Berlin, Germany from the 2nd of next month.

Following the 77, 83, and 88 models, LG Electronics plans to launch the 97-inch OLED EVO in the global market during the fourth quarter, the peak season of the year.

Accordingly, LG Electronics' 70-inch or larger OLED TV lineup (about 178 cm diagonal) will increase from 7 models to 10 this year.

LG Electronics plans to provide consumers with a differentiated viewing experience with the 97-inch OLED EVO, the largest among OLED TVs.

The LG OLED EVO is equipped with a 5th generation artificial intelligence (AI) Alpha 9 processor created based on the OLED picture quality and sound quality data that LG Electronics has accumulated for nearly 10 years.

Through this, △ Upscaling to reduce noise and increase resolution △ High Dynamic Range (HDR) and image quality processing technology to increase color expression △ Sound that converts 2-channel sound source into virtual 7.1.2-channel stereo sound It is expected that processing technology will be implemented to give a maximized immersion feeling.

LG Electronics plans to target the demand for premium home cinemas that want an immersive viewing experience through its extra-large lineup.
